My first visit at this location. I will be back. Person who took my order was pleasant & knowledgeable. The order was ready in a timely fashion. The store was clean & well stocked. The parking was plentiful. Sandwiches are a great value for the price. I recommend this Welsh Road location highly.
Best Primo's location in the city. New owner Pat is amazing, very welcoming and great personality. Sandwiches are fresh and loaded with meat. This location is now apart of our weekly rotation of takeout foods.
The NEW OWNER is extremely nice!!! Not like the previous owner!! He was a jerk!! Just had a meatball hoagie with sharp provolone on a 9" seeded roll. It was absolutely delicious!!!!!! The restaurant is extremely clean!!!! Definitely will be going back!! Thanks Pat!! ♥️
The bad reviews are fake news. Primo's has the best hoagies on the planet. At age 14, I worked at a high-end hoagie shop. Primo's uses the finest quality deli meats, cheeses, and other ingredients. The staff at this location has to deal with miserly, rude, loud customers. If you are nasty to them, they will give it back to you. I am polite to them so they are always courteous to me. As for the rolls being stale, everyone's rolls are hard several hours after they were baked. What else would you expect? Regarding Primo's "high" prices, you get what you pay for. Then again, hoagies from Wawa and Subway cost nearly the same as Primo's yet are not even worth one tenth the price.
I picked up a big hoagie tray last Friday from the newly owned Welsh Road location for an office party. I must say it did not disappoint. The meat was sliced thin and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. I got the tray that feeds 25 people and it probably could have fed 30. Ordering was super easy and pickup was even easier. Great spot! No doubt about it that this will be our new office go to for lunch!
Stopped by PrimoHoagies on Welsh Road and had an amazing experience. The Italian hoagie and turkey hoagie were both outstanding — fresh ingredients, great bread, and generous portions. The staff was friendly, fast, and really made us feel welcome. This location consistently delivers top‑quality food and service. Definitely a go‑to spot in Northeast Philly!
I ordered a primo turkey and American cheese hoagie. I didn’t have to wait long. The sandwich was freshly made and the bread was cooked perfectly! It’s very clean in there and has a friendly staff. This was my first time trying a sandwich from this location, and I definitely would recommend it! if you’re looking for a place with great hoagies, and great customer service, I highly recommend this Primo Hoagies location!
I placed an order for a last minute hoagie tray this Sunday from the Primohoagies on welsh road. They were more than happy to help me out. They even put a rush on the order for me. It was ready in less than 45 minutes. Staff was wonderful and the hoagie tray was delicious!
Bought a small Italian Diablo hoagie for lunch... was a friendly and fast checkout. The hoagie was best I've had this year!!! I highly recommend this place!!! I'd have taken a photo, but devoured the meal immediately lol!!!
I've been in this shop over a dozen times since the new ownership. This place is awesome. The sandwiches are always consistent with plenty of meat and cheese. I recently ordered a hoagie tray. It was clean and the presentation was great. The staff in this location is as amazing as the sandwiches! Everyone is upbeat and ready to make sure you have a primo experience!
